LAT 2010 - Intermediate Latin I (HF)

Students learn Latin through literary and historical readings, practice activities, exercises, and projects in order to build from an elementary level towards intermediate competency. At the same time, they interpret individual texts while assessing the ongoing presence of the Latin language and Roman cultural models from the end of the Roman empire down to the present day, with special focus on the medieval period. Every Fall semester. Prerequisites: LAT 1020 with a minimum grade of C or placement or department head approval.
