ENGL 3830 - Writing Beyond the Academy (3) Credit Hours
An intermediate writing course designed to offer majors and non-majors theory and practice in writing in a variety of non-academic writing contexts, including personal, public, and professional settings. Taught by a variety of professors, the course may focus on rhetorical, genre, and audience awareness, teamwork and tactfulness, problem-solving and project management, creativity and document design, and written and verbal communication skills. Prerequisites: ENGL 1020 or department head approval.
