Selected readings in American literature from the Second World War to the present, including representative works in late modernism and postmodernism, the Beat movement, the Confessional poets, the Black Arts movement, post-Stonewall gay and lesbian literature, and Chicano/a and Native American literature with an emphasis on historical, cultural, and formal developments.
