EDUC 3130 - Teaching Language Arts in the Elementary School

Designed to develop an understanding of the basic concepts of language usage in the elementary classroom. Emphasizes the interrelatedness of language arts skills while demonstrating developmentally appropriate instructional strategies, activities, materials, and assessment techniques. Corequisites: EDUC 3530 or department head approval.
