NURS 7560 - Residency II

This is the second residency and it is designed to provide experiential learning by applying and integrating the roles of the acute care nurse practitioner that students have learned in their previous practicum courses. By the end of this Residency, each student must be able to demonstrate competence in pathophysiology, diagnoses, and therapeutic management of episodic and chronic problems found in the adult and geriatric populations of the acute care setting. 300 clinical clock hoursPrerequisites: NURS 7100, NURS 7120, NURS 7110, NURS 7240, NURS 7510, NURS 7530, NURS 7540, NURS 7550 or Director approval.Only open to Nurse Practitioner D.N.P. students.Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
