NURS 7240 - Advanced Diagnostic Reasoning

(3) Credit Hours

This didactic course emphasizes principles of diagnostic reasoning, common invasive procedures, emergency therapeutics, standards of care, and use of information systems in the health care setting. Content is included but not limited to analysis of laboratory data; interpretation of radiographs; fluid replacement; pre-operative evaluation; suturing; and hemodynamic monitoring. Pre or Corequisites: NURS 7100 Advanced Pathophysiology; NURS 7120 DNP Physical Assessment and Diagnosis; NURS 7110 Advanced PharmacologyOnly open to Nurse Practitioner D.N.P. students.Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
