NURS 7210 - Evidence-Based Practice: Methods of Evaluation

This course examines the underpinnings of nursing knowledge and the methods by which nursing knowledge is generated. This course will explore the role of the nurse scholar in translating evidence into practice. Students will use evidence-based findings to choose an area of interest for their translational research project and begin examining the literature surrounding this topic. After a thorough review of the literature and identification of gaps in the knowledge base, students will begin their project proposal and form their PICOT questions to guide their project. Only open to Nurse Practitioner D.N.P. students.Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
