PUBH 5880R - Public Health Exposure (1-3) Credit Hours
The Public Health Exposure (PHE) is a requirement for the UTC Master in Public Health degree, Chronic Disease Prevention and Control Concentration. The PHE is an observational experience intended to provide students with exposure to different areas of public health. The PHEs involve working with a community partner (i.e., governmental, non-governmental, non-profit, industrial and for-profit settings) or appropriate university-affiliated setting. These exposures serve as networking opportunities, learning about organizations of interest, and applying skills learned from class in real world settings. Students enrolled in this course will complete 1, 2, or 3 PHEs depending on the number of contact hours per experience (20 contact hours per 1 credit hour). Students must complete a minimum of 60 hours total. Only open to M.P.H. students. Satisfactory/No Credit
