NURS 7810 - DNP Anesthesia Professional Issues Seminar I (1) Credit Hours
This course is the first in a series of four seminar courses designed to transition the student into the nurse anesthetist’s role as an advanced practice registered nurse. Selected topics relevant to the profession and practice of nurse anesthesia will be examined. Topics presented will include nurse anesthesia history, professional responsibility and accountability, scope and standards of practice, and the state, national, and international nurse anesthesia organizations’ structure and function. Admission to the DNP Nurse Anesthesia Concentration. Differential course fee will be assessed.
