NURS 7130 - Ethics and Equity in Advanced Practice Nursing


(3) Credit Hours

This course provides a basis for decisions regarding ethical issues in health care, as aligned with the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, as they affect the person, communities, society, and the health care profession.  This course also explores the vast diversity of cultural influences on behavior, including ethnic, racial, gender, and age differences, with attention to social determinants of health and the health disparities associated with them. Admission to the BSN-DNP programs or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed.
