This seminar provides students an opportunity to explore the Scientist-Practitioner model by examining its historical roots and its practicality in light of accepted myths and current trends in the discipline. We will also address these myths and trends in terms of their impact on organizational culture, their potential legal ramifications, and our ability as I-O scientist-practitioners to adapt these trends to influence positive organizational change. Fall semester. Lecture 3 hours. Admission to the Industrial-Organizational Psychology master’s program or approval of the graduate program director or department head approval.Standard Letter Grade
