NUTR 5250 - Orientation to Nutrition and Dietetics (1) Credit Hours
Orientation to Nutrition and Dietetics is a one credit hour course designed for graduate students preparing for entry-level practice as a registered dietitian nutritionist. It includes a didactic component and hands-on experiences. This course prepares students for all supervised experiential learning (SEL) experiences within the MPH Nutrition and Dietetics concentration by introducing students to the 7 ACEND competency domains and providing medical, food safety, health informatics, child protection, professional behavior, critical thinking, and reflective practice training and skill development. Open to Public Health: Nutrition and Dietetics concentration only. Practicum course fee will be assessed. Standard Letter Grade.
