ENGM 5530 - Advanced Ergonomics

The study of how Ergonomics, the science of designing the job, equipment, and workplace to fit the worker, is employed to fulfill the two goals of health and productivity. The International Ergonomics Association defines Ergonomics (or Human Factors) as the scientific discipline concerned with the understanding of interactions among humans and other elements of a system, and the profession that applies theory, principles, data and methods to design in order to optimize human well-being and overall system performance. Prerequisites: Undergraduate statistics course. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
