SOCW 5431 - Specialist Field Seminar I

This course assists students to integrate theory and classroom learning in their advanced field internships. Students use the seminar to provide mutual support, discuss and complete assignments needed in field, explore on-going practice concerns when serving older adults and their families. Prerequisites: SOCW 5421 and SOCW 5424 with a grade of B or better, or Admittance into the Advanced Standing Program. Corequisites: SOCW 5434 or department head approval. Admission into the MSW program or department head approval.
