This course provides an examination of issues related to the development, implementation and impact of public policies and health system management strategies on population health. The course will focus on healthcare policy issues as they relate to licensure, patient reimbursement for services, and advocacy on the part of the healthcare professional for the client.Prerequisites: admission into the OTD program or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed. Standard letter grade.
