PHYT 7313 - Differential Diagnosis in Physical Therapy

Designed to provide physical therapy students with the tools necessary to screen patients for the presence of disease processes that are beyond the scope of practice for physical therapists. This information, combined with their knowledge and skills for the management of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary system dysfunction will provide the student with a more comprehensive examination scheme and interprofessional communication between the physical therapy student and other health care providers. Fall semester; year 3. Differential course fee will be assessed.
