The physiological, didactic and clinical applications of physical therapy examinations, evaluation, therapeutic interventions, and management for a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be familiar with the pathophysiology, etiology, incidence, signs and symptoms, impairments, functional status and participation limitations, and medical, surgical, and physical therapy management in the following areas: immune system disorders, blood disorders, cancer, women’s health issues, and chronic pain.Fall semester; year 2.Differential course fee will be assessed.
