PHYT 7070 - Therapeutic Exercise

Basic foundation of the knowledge and skills needed to prescribe and apply therapeutic exercise in the practice of physical therapy. The focus of this course will be on how to perform basic cardiovascular, muscular, and flexibility exercises and programming. This course will provide the foundation for therapeutic exercise units within the applied courses (orthopedics, neurology, acute care) of the curriculum. Spring semester; year 1.Differential course fee will be assessed.
