The roles of community counselors in a variety of settings; an overview of the history of the counseling profession; an examination of our professional ethical code; an overview of consultation, prevention, and outreach activities; and exposure to professional associations and to common topic areas encountered by community counselors.Prerequisites: EDAS 5010 or department head approval.
