COUN 5540 - Counseling Children and Adolescents

(3) Credit Hours

Techniques for counseling children and adolescents. Factors influencing development of personality in children and adolescents, a psychological foundation for counseling them, and an understanding of many typical emotional problems confronted by children. The class format will include lectures, group discussion, online discussion, role play, and practical application of techniques. Prerequisites: COUN 5020 or department head approval.
