Continuation of mastery of musical skills including: diatonic diatonic functional harmony; chord symbols from popular and classical perspectives; melody composition and harmonization; basic analysis of music using these concepts and skills. Class hours 2. Prerequisites: Completion of MUS 1710 with grade of C or better or department head approval. Corequisites: MUS 1740 Musicianship Lab II and MUS 1760 Aural Skills II.
