ECHD 4650 - Community Partnerships and Service Learning

(3) Credit Hours

This course is designed to develop civic responsibility, citizenship skills and a service orientation. An appropriate agency or organization serving children and families will serve as the site for this course and classroom activities and work will take place at that agency. A project will be created so that the student may become involved in the mission of the organization through fifty (50) hours of service. Prerequisites: ECHD 3650 or department head approval.
