ECHD 3650 - Poverty and Asset Building

This course addresses the unique characteristics of poverty and the mindsets of economic classes. An exploration of how poverty impacts learning, work habits and decision making is central to this course. Additionally, the 40 developmental assets, identified as the building blocks of healthy development by the Search Institute, will be explored. Fall semester.
