STEM 1020 - Step Two: Inquiry-Based Lesson Design in Math and Science

(1) Credit Hours

Topics include routes to teacher certification in mathematics and science; various teaching methods that are designed to meet instructional goals; and learner outcomes. Students develop and teach three inquiry-based lessons in their field in a middle school and participate in peer coaching. Field component. No credit in STEM 1010  or 1020 after satisfactory completion of STEM 1030 . Every semester. Prerequisites: STEM 1010  with a minimum grade of C and STEM Education program Co-Director approval.
