Music Performance Minor

22 hours of music including a core of 19 hours:

• MUS 1070 - Theory I
• MUS 1080 - Theory II
• MUS 1110 - Introduction to Music
• MUS 3150 - History of Music I
• MUS 3160 - History of Music II
• 4 hours (4 semesters) of applied instruction at the 2000 level or above

Additional Information and Notes

Additional requirements include 3 elective hours in music at the 3000-4000 level. Students mus pass the departmental Music Theory Diagnostic test or complete MUS 1060 before enrolling in MUS 1070.

Minimum 2.0 average in the minor.
