The Certificate in Sales and Business Development is designed for students at UTC who envision working at the intersection of their primary interest and expertise area (e.g., technical engineering; communications; sports and recreation, etc.) and the career of professional selling.
Students from all disciplines can benefit from this certificate, as they will learn and practice professional selling, business development, and customer account management skills. The certificate ultimately prepares the UTC student for a front-line role as a salesperson or account manager, where they will utilize both their primary degree knowledge and background in conjunction with the skills and competencies imparted by the certificate’s coursework.
By earning the Certificate in Sales and Business Development at UTC, students will be in an advantageous position to secure many jobs and positions post-graduation which might otherwise be unavailable.
