The purpose of the Public Health minor is to provide students with fundamental knowledge associated with the organization, structure, and function of core public health concepts, including epidemiology, health behavior, health communication, and community health. This coursework helps develop a student that is well rounded in the issues associated with promoting and maintaining a healthy population that will be important as students pursue various careers in the healthcare field.

Required Courses
Core (and elective) courses would address the organization, structure, and function of core public health concepts, including epidemiology, health behavior, health communication, and community health. Electives (6 hours)
Any two courses from the following list and/or two approved electrives that address the core concepts of public health. Additional Information and Notes
