Electrical Engineering Minor

A Minor in Electrical Engineering (EE) is designed to complement many different majors offered at UTC. Students who are interested in working to build smart devices and systems using electronic intelligence and information technologies to solve problems, then they may choose EE as their minor. Electrical Engineers are the innovators that create sustainable energy systems, study the brain to better understand neurological diseases, efficiently process big data, build computing devices that are sometimes too small to even see, control robots, safely image tumors, communicate information, and much more. The program provides a path to learn to invent, design, and improve devices that enhance life for all with a minor in Electrical Engineering.
