Minor Requirement
- Completion of a minor with a minimum 2.0 grade point average.

Students must complete 9 classes (or 27 hours) in CLAS and related fields

Additional Information and Notes
At least 12 hours in the major at the 3000-level or above
Students pursuing a career in Latin secondary education should devote all hours in B to LAT 3000-level and above.
2.0 GPA in all required major and related courses.
Minimum of 39 hours of 3000 and 4000 level courses.
Electives to complete 120 hours.

Modern and Classical Language Licensure
Students choosing to be certified in Modern and Classical Language Education should pursue a major in a specific language (French, Latin, Spanish) and declare a minor in Education . Those individuals will be required to meet the requirement of the initial degree as well as requirements for admission to the Teacher Education Program and state licensure requirements. Licensure requirements include two semesters of residency (EDUC 4320, 4420 and 4445).
