Degree and Accreditation:

Computer Science program graduates obtain a B.S. degree. The Computer Science program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Computer Science and Similarly Named Computing Programs.

MATH 1950 - Calculus with Analytic Geometry I (QR)
MATH 1960 - Calculus with Analytic Geometry II
MATH 2030 - Discrete Mathematics for Computer Science or
MATH 3000 - Introduction to Logic and Proof
MATH 2100 - Introductory Statistics (QR) or
DATA 2130 - Statistics for Business (QR)
MATH 2200 - Elementary Linear Algebra
DATA 2140 - Data Modeling for Business
One 2-semester laboratory sequence chosen from the list of approved natural science laboratory courses
Two additional Science courses – one of which must be a lab science.

6 hours Computer Science or other technical courses as approved by advisor at or above 3000 level.

Additional Information and Notes

All majors must attain a minimum grade of C in all computer science core courses as a condition for graduation.

2.0 GPA in all required major and related courses.

Minimum of 39 hours of 3000 and 4000 level courses.

Electives to complete 122 hours.
