4 semesters (8 hours) of MUSP 4000-level primary applied study.
Large ensemble participation is required each semester of residence, minimum 8 hours. Piano and guitar majors may substitute up to 4 hours of small ensemble.
Two semesters of small ensemble participation required.
MUS 3920 - Junior Recital
MUS 4920 - Senior Recital
MUS 3300 - Survey of Piano Repertoire I (for piano majors)
MUS 3310 - Survey of Piano Repertoire II (for piano majors)
MUS 3320 - Piano Pedagogy (for piano majors)
MUS 4400 - Instrumental Music Literature (except for piano majors)

Additional Information and Notes

Successful completion of Continuation Standards is prerequisite to enrollment in upper-division music courses.

Eight semesters of Seminar with a grade of Satisfactory are required.

2.0 GPA in all required major and related courses.

Minimum of 39 hours of 3000 and 4000 level courses.

Electives to complete 120 hours.
