HHP: Health and Physical Education K-12, B.S.

This career program prepares students who desire teacher licensure and endorsement in physical education and health instruction (K-12). Since graduates of this program can be certified to coach, a partial segment of the concentration is devoted to content and laboratory courses designed to ensure necessary skills for both teaching and coaching. Graduates of this concentration may seek entry into graduate studies.

Additional Information and Notes


For admission to the Teacher Education Program (TEP) and graduation with licensure: 2.75 cumulative GPA or higher, 2.75 institutional GPA or higher, a minimum 2.75 GPA in education courses with no grade lower than C, and a 2.75 GPA in HPE K-12 content area courses with no grade lower than C.

Minimum of 39 hours of 3000 and 4000 level courses.

Electives to complete 121 hours.
