Computer Engineering, B.S.Cp.E.

Degree and Accreditation:

Computer Engineering program graduates obtain the B.S.Cp.E. degree. The Computer Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Electrical, Computer, Communications, Telecommunications(s) and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.

The Engineering degree programs (B.S.Ch.E., B.S.C.E., B.S.Cp.E., B.S.E.E., and B.S.M.E.) only require 2 courses/6 hours of Humanities and Fine Arts.

All majors must attain a minimum grade of C in all engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, and computer engineering core courses, including technical electives, as a condition for graduation.

2.0 GPA in all required major and related courses.

Minimum of 39 hours of 3000 and 4000 level courses.

128 total hours required.
