Asian Studies Minor

To earn a minor in Asian Studies, students must: 

• Complete 18 credit hours 
• Minimum 2.0 average in the minor 
• Eight credit hours must be at the 3000 level or above 
• No more than two courses (six credit hours) in the major can count toward the minor
• No more than two courses in an Asian language course can count toward the minor

Note that courses on the Middle East might not count toward the minor. Please consult with the director of the Asian Studies Program before you register for such course to count toward the minor. 

Consult the director of the Asian Studies Program to verify if a language is considered an Asian language to count toward the minor.
