Music Teaching and Learning Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

The Certificate in Music Teaching and Learning is a 12-hour post-baccalaureate program. Designed for practicing music educators wishing to increase their knowledge of music education research, background, and theory to refine their practice, the Certificate in Music Teaching and Learning can be completed in as little as one academic year through online asynchronous study. The program includes twelve hours from the core courses for the Master of Music in Music Education, including Research Methods, Music Curricula, Psychology of Music, and History and Philosophy of Music Education. Credits earned toward the Certificate can also be applied toward an M.M. in Music Education, should the student later choose to pursue the degree.
