Program Requirements

All M.P.A. students complete 24 semester hours of core courses:

• PSPS 5111 - Public Administration Foundations
• PSPS 5112 - Public Administration Research and Analysis
• PSPS 5113 - Program Planning and Evaluation
• PSPS 5114 - Human Resources Management in Public Agencies
• PSPS 5121 - Organizational Theory and Administrative Behavior
• PSPS 5122 - Budgeting and Finance in Public Agencies
• PSPS 5123 - Public Policy
• PSPS 5124 - Applications in Public Administration

Electives

Students pursuing the generalist MPA degree select 12 credit hours of elective courses to meet their professional development goals in consultation with the MPA program coordinator.
