Instructional Coaching Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

The Certificate in Instructional Coaching is a 12 credit hour program that will prepare students to be leaders in adult professional learning in educational environments including K-12 schools. Coursework will center on the skills and dispositions needed to:
- effectively lead adult learners
- Analyze and develop viable quality curricula
- coach and present to adult learners
- organize and lead professional learning communities
- interpret and analyze relevant data to inform school improvement efforts. Students completing the Certificate in Instructional Coaching will complete a minimum of 50 hours of leadership-related filed experience through their coursework.
Admission requirements for the certificate ate The Graduate School standards for admission. Students must have an earned Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7. The student must be a fully admitted student, although the student is not required to be degree seeking. Continuation standards are those of the Graduate School.
