The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP): Nursing Administration Systems Concentration requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as the entry point for the degree. The concentration consists of DNP core classes and specialized classes to prepare the student for nursing administration. The concentration also requires 1,000 clinical residency hours as part of a translational project.

Electives
- Three (3) credit hours of electives are required. MBA Option: For those students who are dually enrolled in the DNP: Nursing Administration Systems program and the MBA program, MGT/PMBA 5250 Organization Behavior and leadership will be a required course. Students in the DNP: Nursing Administration Systems program only may consider PMBA 5250 as an elective.
