Natural Sciences: (7-8 hours)


  • Two approved natural science courses, at least one including a laboratory component

Behavioral and Social Sciences: (6 hours)


  • Two approved behavioral or social science courses other than Political Science

Mathematics: (3 hours)


  • One approved mathematics course

Statistics: (3 hours)


  • One approved statistics course

Non-Western Culture: (3 hours)


  • One approved non-western culture course

Minor Requirement


All Political Science majors must complete a minor with a minimum 2.0 grade point average.

 

Program Requirements


Additional Requirements for the Major:


One course designated as political theory must be taken from PSPS 2051 PSPS 2450 PSPS 3052 PSPS 3053 PSPS 3054 PSPS 3055 PSPS 4050r PSPS 4051 , or PSPS 4052 .  (These courses can be used to meet requirements in the major and also count toward the theory requirement.

Additional Information and Notes


Minimum of 2.0 in all PSPS courses

Minimum of 39 hours of 3000 and 4000 level courses

Electives to complete 120 hours.
