Secondary Education: English as a Second Language

The English as a Second Language (ESL) concentration requires 36 graduate credits and is designed for teachers who seek to deepen their insights into curriculum, instruction, and evaluation of English Learners. Completion of the program, along with a passing score on the required state exam, will quality a student for a Tennessee endorsement as an ESL teacher.
