MPA students may earn a concentration in Nonprofit Management by completing four courses (12 credit hours) as listed below to fulfill the elective requirement for the degree.

Required Courses

To earn the Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management, students complete four courses. Three are required:

PSPS 5311 - Nonprofit Management Fundamentals
PSPS 5312 - Ethical and Legal Aspects of Nonprofit Management
PSPS 5313 - Nonprofit Resource Development

Students to select one of the following:

PSPS 5213 - Community Economic Development
PSPS 5321 - Volunteer Management
PSPS 5323 - Strategic Planning in Nonprofit Organizations
PSPS 5324 - International Nongovernmental Organizations
PSPS 5401 - Government and Nonprofits
