MPA students may earn a concentration in Local Government Management by completing four courses (12 credit hours) as listed below to fulfill the elective requirement for the degree. Three courses are required:

PSPS 5211 - Local Government Management Fundamentals
PSPS 5212 - Anatomy of the City
PSPS 5213 - Community Economic Development

Students to select one of the following:

PSPS 5221 - Administrative Law
PSPS 5223 - Intergovernmental Relations
PSPS 5224 - Government, Politics, and Policy in Metropolitan Areas
PSPS 5225 - Public Sector Information Management
PSPS 5401 - Government and Nonprofits
