The High-Achieving Mocs Living-Learning Community (HAM LLC) is a freshman-year-only experience for residential students. HAM LLC students live together in a dedicated section of university housing, take select courses together during the freshman year, and benefit from special programming and advisement. Many HAM students go on to enter the Honors College’s Innovations in Honors Program in the sophomore year. Incoming freshmen with at least a 3.5 high school GPA and a minimum 26 composite ACT are especially encouraged to apply to the HAM LLC, though other applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
