Music History Minor

25 hours of music including a core of 19 hours:

• MUS 1070 - Theory I
• MUS 1080 - Theory II
• MUS 1110 - Introduction to Music
• MUS 3150 - History of Music I
• MUS 3160 - History of Music II
• 4 hours (4 semesters) of applied instruction

Class instruction in piano (MUS 1310, 1320, 1410, 1420) may satisfy the applied music requirement. Students mus pass the departmental Music Theory Diagnostic test or complete MUS 1060 before enrolling in MUS 1070.

Minimum 2.0 average in the minor.
