Mission Statement

The mission of the Accounting Program is to:

Prepare traditional and non-traditional students from diverse backgrounds with professional and practical acumen, leadership and interpersonal skills to excel as accounting and business professionals who possess a high level of integrity and are prepared to become responsible global corporate citizens.

The Department of Accounting offers a program designed to prepare students for positions in the profit and nonprofit sectors. The Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration may be obtained with a concentration in Accounting.

The Department of Accounting is committed to providing high quality educational programs supported by ongoing faculty research and active participation in community and professional organizations.
