EMBA 6040 - Economics for Decision Makers


2 Credit Hours

Two hours lecture. The goal of this course is to acquaint EMBA students with the primary concepts of economic analysis. The course will cover basic micro and macro economic concepts such as how markets work (supply and demand diagram analysis), gains from trade, market failures (externalities), effect of demand and supply elasticity on government policies, the Federal Reserve, aggregate demand and long/short–run aggregate supply, and the influence of monetary and fiscal policy on aggregate demand and supply. Open to EMBA majors only. Credit not allowed in ECON 5010.
