MATH 1006 - Intermediate Algebra (4 hours institutional credit) Credit Hours
The real number system, first degree equations and inequalities, exponents and polynomials, factoring, rational expressions, rational exponents and roots, linear equations and inequalities in two variables, quadratic equations, systems of equations, absolute value equations, functions and applications. Every semester. Prerequisite: MATH 1005 with a minimum grade of C or Math ACT 19 or above or department head approval. Credit not applicable toward any degree.
