PHYS 5810 - Quantum Communication and Networking


(3) Credit Hours

This course explores the principles and applications of quantum communication and networking. Students will delve into foundational topics such as quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols, quantum teleportation, and superdense coding. The course also covers the architecture of quantum networks, including quantum repeaters, as well as techniques for security analysis and noise mitigation. By the end of the course, students will understand the theoretical and practical aspects of building secure and efficient quantum communication systems. Fall semesters.
