ENEE 5670 - Power System Optimization and Smart Grid

This course introduces different optimization problems in power system operations including economic dispatch, unit commitment, optimal power flow, and state estimation. It also covers optimal operation of microgrids, virtual power plants, distributed energy resources in the concept of operation of smart grids. Prerequisites: ENEE 5720 or Department Head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed.
