CPSC 5001 - Fundamentals of Computation

(3) Credit Hours

This course is designed to provide students with the essential mathematical foundation required for success in the Master of Computer Science program at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The course covers fundamental topics in computation utilizing calculus, probability and statistics, and discrete structures, preparing students for advanced coursework in computer science. Fall and Spring semester. Admission to the Master of Computer Science program or Department Head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed. Satisfactory/No Credit.
